Spinning on disaster bound
Mother Earth grinds slowly down

Cold blood running through your veins
Destiny grabbed by the reins
Trade the blue for blackened skies
Witness smiling while mother dies

Leaders promise change today
And then look the other way
Shadows cast on future’s heels
Wicked man’s own fate he seals

Progress disregards the wise
You create your own demise
Soon there will be no place to hide
Victims of your matricide

Stealing nature for your needs
Passing slowly mother bleeds
One day soon you’ll go too far
Mother gets one too many scars
