Nephylim - Withered

Glimpse upon a tainted mind, Entangled by the heart of man
Reaching deeper and beyond, As the void smothers whole

Dreading, weaving, a lifetime in despair
The thread, thinning
Lost in translucent glance
Our time has come to walk amongst the shadows
Hollow vessels linger on, feeding off hope

For I'm withered, Gone with the wind
Astray on the tide, Falling from grace

Gravitating towards, Desperation, Delve between the layers of woe

Spiraling out of the dusk, Grasping let light take ahold
The blood comes cleansing, Sent my inner dread adrift

The lucid air I breathe, Takes me across distant shores
Where I am whole again, reborn

Withered, so discordant, Suffer ever more
Trust no, false conviction, Find meaning within

For I'm withered, Lost and castaway
Far apart of initial destiny, Cursed I may be
For I lived in fallacy, The purpose was mine to be
Mine alone

Slip away into dreadful being
I have reached my destination
A call to home
Slip away into resentful healing

Alight, luminous
A calling so prosperous
Soaring up high, upon the horizon
Await our return
