Gods of the wind and the Earth
Of the trees and the skies
Can you hear our prayer?

When the night has come upon our hearts
Lost in the mists of time
What can we do now to change the course of human kind?

I stand alone at night
Surrounded by eternal stones
Erected by those men
To touch the heart of Mother Earth
And when I open my ears
I hear your whispers in the wind

And after centuries of war
Of folly, murders and blood
Serene, the stones remain alone
Impervious to human prayers and tears
Still standing now and forevermore

The ancient gods are crying

That even starlight cannot heal

Eternal guardians of time forever pointing to the sky
