I was up all night I had to write a brand new song
With lyrics about Satan and not more than 3 minutes long
But the paper was empty and the riffs all sounded like shit
Then I remembered this band that just released a hit

I came up with a brilliant, bullet-proof plan
Jumped in the car and picked up the rest of the band
Now we're almost ready with our next LP
Because we broke into your song and stole your idea

We listened to your sound and liked some of the riffs
Your chorus sucked but the rest got on our list
The lyrics were awful except for a line or two
The solo was not great but I guess it will do

So maybe we're not gonna break new ground
Not make a career with a brand new sound
But we'll release an album, or maybe two
