She sits in the waiting room for the men in blue.
She hopes for the good news they told her to hold on to.
Instead they inform her of his last breath,
and the complications that led to his death.
So we hold to the words they said,
But the words they said were broken.
So we go to where the lies end,
Back to an ending or beginning.
She falls to her knees, lets out a scream.
And as the anger swells, the pain overwhelms, it all goes white…
