...and Here I Lie - Whisper Silently

Rain falls down into my eyes mixing with my tears, I try to climb out but I fall once again- Feelings are numbered by the repetiveness of life-What is my purpose - I try to figure out who I am but am lost in a maze of confusion. I am traveling down the hall of life looking at the walls- I read the words but I don't understand- I must reach from within to find the feelings- To find my way out- Cast out by this world- Mocked by others I whisper silently to myself- I will find my way I never wanted nothing more than to feel your hand in mine, I glance one way, look back, and you're not there. Tortured by this moment. I feel as though I could die, but I'll carry on as lifeless as I could ever be, there is no existence without that embrace. As I figure out who I am, the loss of you is in my mind. I'll never be the same. Was I born for this? To suffer on without your smile to comfort me. The face that was heavenly is now just a memory. I cannot carry on in this hopeless place that does not bear your soul.
